I've been bad...
I haven't blogged all week so far. I don't really have a good reason, just lazy. But then I haven't really done that much else this week either. I'm finishing up a custom order for an old friend from Baltimore, it's a piggy, and he's almost done, just gotta do details & make him look good. He looks a little "special" right now, but almost there.
I also finished up soldering all of my electronics for my robots!! It's really fun, I learned and got better at actually sodering & all the electronics work, but the only thing is that the kits were kinda just plug & solder boards. They had everything labeled so you just put the part in & finish it up. They also didn't really explain out the parts & the circuit works. But it's a baby step, huh? Now I just have to put the body together for the robot kits, It's a "walking" "sensing" robot. Maybe I'll do that tonight. Soldering is fun, so next I guess I need to go back to my robot book & learn more about the parts & building circuits.
And finally, we are going to the fair tomorrow!! BY GOLLY WE ARE GOING!!! I love the fair, and the L.A. Country fair is super awesome, they have the best advertising campaigns!! Here are a couple of the HILARIOUS ads that they have done....
This is the ad from last year! So funny!
I think this is the new one!
And this is just one of the many HILARIOUS T.V. ads that they have made. I love how the city makes fun of it's self. There are several more, with the same girls, you can google them & watch the fun!! Aren't you jealous?? Wish you were here!!

I went to the Wisconsin State Fair a few years ago, which was VERY amusing. However, I find no irony in the Texas State Fair. I must be in too deep...
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I hope you have a blast. Your little piggy looks like he's ready with his rocket pop. Can't wait to see him finished. How big is he? I'm sure your friend will be thrilled.
